Transcending for Power
A modern young man accidentally time-travels, becoming Yun Ye, the First Prince of the Great Zhou Dynasty. Upon entering the palace, he is immediately plunged into crisis: Chancellor Li Tonggu seeks to make him a puppet, his 13th brother conspires with others to set a trap at the Hundred Flowers Pavilion, and his imperial father is addicted to poisonous elixirs. Yun Ye uses his modern knowledge, resolving literary duels with classic poetry, exposing the elixir conspiracy to save his father, and enlisting alchemists to secretly develop firearms. Faced with provocations from the Xiongnu envoy delegation, he utterly defeats them in a literary contest of couplets, then cleverly outsmarts the Xiongnu general in a martial challenge, forcing them to pledge allegiance and pay tribute. Under the dual trials of court intrigue and external threats, Yun Ye proceeds cautiously, not only solidifying his position as Crown Prince but also using new weapons to help Great Zhou expand its territory and embark on a path to prosperity.
