Sudden Skyfall Wonder
The film primarily tells the story of Zhang Lei, an ordinary office worker who accidentally gains supernatural powers suspected to be endowed by alien technology after inadvertently drinking a bottle of ""juice."" With these abilities, Zhang Lei quickly achieves a life turnaround and becomes a ""bootleg superhero."" However, as everything has its cause and effect, Zhang Lei, who has obtained these powers, is also drawn into a shocking conspiracy by ambitious individuals seeking to dominate the world. Using the starkly contrasting attitudes of those around Zhang Lei before and after his success with these abilities, the film criticizes the mistaken values of worldly snobbery in modern society, where some people ""respect only fine clothes, not the person."" Through the plot of Zhang Lei nearly losing himself and becoming a puppet of power due to unrestrained use of his abilities, the film conveys to viewers the simple values that ""everything has a price"" and ""free things are often the most expensive.
