My Rules, Not His
Cautious and conflict-averse graduate Ma Hexi takes a job as a safety officer at a construction company, working on a project led by young boss Yan Jiutang. Plagued by workplace bullying from senior supervisor Biao Shu and pressured by his girlfriend Tian Anna to save for an exorbitant betrothal gift, his life is miserable. During a shift, Ma uncovers safety hazards at the site, but the team is preoccupied with welcoming Fu Ruibo, son of Vice Mayor Fu Qianli. His repeated warnings to fix the issues are ignored, leading to a fatal accident—Ma dies saving his friend Niu Su. Miraculously, Ma revives in Fu Ruibo’s body. Shocked to find the accident whitewashed as a success (with Fu Ruibo honored), he discovers Tian Anna’s involvement with company executives and a major conspiracy behind the project. He teams up with Su Yue, a righteous woman and sister of Yan Jiutang (daughter of the group’s chairman), after overcoming mutual distrust. As they investigate, Ma learns the mastermind is Fu Ruibo’s father, Vice Mayor Fu Qianli. Meanwhile, Niu Hui (Niu Su’s friend) is fired for refusing to smear Ma, Ma’s parents die mysteriously, and key insiders are silenced or forced to flee. With Fu Ruibo’s consciousness gradually awakening and emotions running high, Ma and Su Yue press on. They gather solid evidence and resolve to uphold justice at all costs.
