Love On The Way
Shawn West has always craved his family's approval. When he finally brings his girlfriend home, his mother's cold reception creates tension. Tyrone persists, hoping for acceptance. However, when his mother learns of the girlfriend's wealthy background, her attitude shifts dramatically. Uncomfortable with rural life, the city-bred girlfriend storms off after an argument over takeout food. She encounters a woman Tyrone greeted warmly earlier, sparking jealousy until a misunderstanding is cleared up. Learning it's Tyrone's parents' birthday, she decides to buy a cake in town. En route, she falls victim to a scam artist and pays them off to avoid trouble. But upon returning, she's shocked to discover the scammer was actually Tyrone's older brother.
