I Am No Wolf of Wall Street
This story follows Xiao Chang, a financial genius who once made waves on Wall Street, only to be framed and thrown in jail—his girlfriend Jiang Sisi betrayed him too. While in prison, his parents were in a car accident; at rock bottom, Ye Shengtang, CEO of MaoYe International, stepped in to save him. He got Xiao Chang released from prison and sent back to China, but on one condition: sign a confidentiality agreement to earn money for the Ye family over ten years, with a lump sum of 100 million yuan to be paid after the term. Five years later, when Ye Shengtang was undergoing surgery, his son Ye Zhi’an—along with Xiao Chang’s ex-girlfriend Jiang Sisi—took over the company.
