Karol Sowle was born into a rural family. At 18, she married Joseph Lee, a young intellectual, and followed him to the city. With Theo's support, Karol pursued education, honed her sewing skills, and eventually founded her own clothing factory. Meanwhile, under her devoted care, Theo's legs gradually healed.
