Shane, from Hans Media, heard her best friend Shirley was cheated on and decided to confront the jerk. In the parking garage, she saw someone who looked just like him, so she threw a bucket of water on him without hesitation. Back at the office, the two laughed about the jerk, only to realize they’d splashed the wrong guy. It turned out, the man they soaked was Hans, the CEO of Hans Media. Shirley reassured Shane, saying they'd never meet him again. But during the new CEO's meeting, Shane was shocked to find out the guy she splashed was actually Hans! Hans was determined to get revenge, and Shane spent every day walking on eggshells at work, not wanting to quit her job. When Shane found out Hans had lost millions, she and Shirley discussed how to make it up. They realized they couldn’t possibly cover it, but Shirley suggested Shane join a wealthy bachelor matchmaking event with a million-dollar prize. While Shane was considering it, Hans also got news about the event. His grandmother, desperate for him to find a wife, had set it up. After some drama, Hans reluctantly agreed. At the event, after a few rounds of interviews, Hans saw the photo of the woman who threw water on him. He immediately called her in for an interview. Shane apologized, and Hans, with a sly smile, proposed a deal: no damages, but she had to pretend to marry him to please his grandmother. As they faked their love, their feelings grew, and in the end, they found true happiness together.
