Breaking the Sisters' Serial Scheme
This story tells of Jiang Xueer, who, driven to desperation, is forced to marry Pei Yu, a man in a vegetative state. To ensure the Pei family has an heir, she is compelled to conceive Pei Yu’s child, a situation that attracts covetous eyes from all sides. Her ex-boyfriend, seeking to control the Pei Group through the child, kidnaps Jiang Xueer as a bargaining chip. Unexpectedly, Pei Yu, in a twist of fate, wakes from his vegetative state and risks his life to rescue her. His actions move Jiang Xueer, but she accidentally discovers that she is merely a substitute for Pei Yu’s ""white moonlight"" (the idealized love of his past). Heartbroken, Jiang Xueer asks for a divorce, only to be rejected by Pei Yu. She fakes her death to escape, leaving Pei Yu devastated. After her mother falls into a coma from a suicide attempt and her boyfriend cheats on her with her stepsister, Jiang Xueer, driven to despair, is forced by her biological father to marry Pei Yu, the comatose, vegetative president of the Pei Group, who was severely injured in a car accident. They gradually fall in love through their time together.
