A promise of love
Mok Gi-sin was sent to the countryside to recuperate, where he met Sonaja (Shen Nan-gyo). Before leaving, Mok Gi-sin left behind a keepsake and promised to marry her a few years later. However, the Heavenly Kun Ring was stolen by Sha Mengfei, who was then a child. Twenty years later, Sha Mengfei impersonated Sha Nan-gyo with the keepsake. Sha Mengfei deliberately lied to Sha Nan-gyo about his relationship with Mok Gi-sin, and Mok Gi-sin misunderstood Sha Nan-gyo. Later, through interactions with Sha Nan-gyo, Mok Gi-sin discovered that Sha Nan-gyo's excellent qualities were very similar to those of Sonaja in her youth, and he realized that Sha Nan-gyo was the one who had made the promise to him in his youth. In the end, Sha Mengfei received his just punishment, and Mok Gi-sin and Sha Nan-gyo lived happily ever after.
